If you are an early childhood teacher, parent, or desire to see New Mexico's young children thrive, this opportunity is for you!

The 7th Annual Early Childhood Public Policy and Parent Advocacy Leadership Institute was held in Santa Fe, NM on January 16-18, 2017!

The popular Early Childhood Public Policy (ECPP) Institute and Parent Advocacy Leadership (PAL) Institute was held jointly in Santa Fe on the day before the opening of the New Mexico Legislature, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The first day of the institute covered advocacy on Monday, January 16, 2017. Then attendees had the chance to meet legislators at the Roundhouse for “Celebrating New Mexico’s Children and Youth Day” on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. The Institute then culminated with reflection on the days' events on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. The Institute is sponsored by the New Mexico Association for the Education of Young Children (NMAEYC), the New Mexico Head Start Association, and other early education organizations.
