The Alamo Navajo School Board is a non-profit local tribal community organization that operates a BIE funded K-12 school, Division of Community Services, Local Public Radio Station, Comprehensive Health & Wellness Services and the Division of Early Childhood. The division of Early Childhood operates center base and home base services to serve prenatal through 5 years old. The Alamo Navajo community is located 29 miles north of Magdalena, NM and 1 hour northwest of Socorro, NM in the scenic landscape off the foothills of the Galinas Mountains.

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To provide developmentally appropriate practice in an early childhood center base classroom to young children from 3 to five years old. Responsible for developing lesson plans, authentic and ongoing observations and conduct required developmental screenings. Lastly to supervise children and facilitate learning opportunities. T

1. Associates Degree or Higher in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution
2. Experience in working with young children in an early childhood classroom
1. Current CPR and First Aid
2. Food Handers Certification
3. Physical Exam
4. Tuberculin Screening
