Meet Our 2027 Keynote Speaker: Jennifer Salinas
Reconnecting with Nature, Curiosity, and Wonder
Those who work with young children and families spend so much of their time creating opportunities for children to explore, play, and discover. But amid the responsibilities of caring for others, it can be easy to lose touch with those same experiences ourselves.
Keynote speaker, Jennifer Salinas invites us to reconnect with nature, curiosity, and a sense of wonder. Drawing on more than 16 years of experience supporting children and families, Jennifer explores what can happen when adults give themselves permission to slow down, pay attention, and become more present to the world around them.
Her keynote will highlight how time in nature can support well-being for both children and adults. Through reflection, play, and meaningful connection with the natural world, participants will explore opportunities to feel more grounded, connected, and restored.
